When thinking about why brands are now starting to use live steaming, what comes to mind? Is it because they want to feel closer to their audience? Or maybe perhaps you think it may be because they want to share unique experiences?

As many of us know, when something is live, it doesn’t always go to plan… Anything can happen! This is itself is motivation to watch the videos! So is it worth the risk of live streaming?

Well, you would make sure that everything is running smoothly during the day of course! And you never know, an innocent mistake can make the audience love you even more. It’s only human!

Furthermore, live streaming is much more appealing for a brand audience, with 80% preferring to watch a live video than read a blog and 82% would prefer it to social posts. As a brand, this alone should motivate you to really start considering live streaming and the benefits it can bring.

If your audience prefer to watch live videos compared to reading written content, then it might be wise to give them that opportunity! It can increase engagement rates and make them feel compelled to comment and like.

This is because live streaming can make for a personal viewing platform and hence create a feeling of exclusiveness. It becomes content for you and the viewer instead of you and the rest of the world.

Behind-the-scenes exclusive footage is a huge draw for 87% of audiences who would prefer to watch it online than on TV, especially if it meant more behind-the-scenes content.

You may think, well, this is something maybe only events companies can do… but you’re wrong. You can just share the little everyday things, such as the office lunch, or “a-day-in-the-office”, whatever suits!

Something that can make your company just feel a bit more… human.
