Out of all the live streaming platforms, Facebook Live is one of the oldest. It began it’s journey in August 2015 and has continued to grow ever since.

Before, Live was introduce, Facebook saw an exceptional growth in the number of video views in 2014. At the end of 2014, the number of views were just 1 billion a day and after the introduction in August 2015, this figure increased to a whooping 8 billion!

So Live seems like a good move! And it could do the same for your business too…

Is this right for your business? Well, Facebook is good for any business, really!

With the biggest platform of 1.86 billion active users, the reach is pretty high… That’s approximately 33.3 % of all users Internet users! If you are looking to become recognised and increase exposure for your brand, there really isn’t a better platform than Facebook.

But what about Facebook Live? Is the tool worth it? Well, “Chewbacca Mom” is the most watched video earning over 164 million views, which is a lot.

Also 78% of all online audiences are watching video Facebook Live. Just looking at these numbers alone, we would say that it is totally worth it.

Live video content is watched for 3 times longer than non – live video content. This clearly shows that just the sheer fact of it being live is more engaging. So if you got something important to say… live stream it!

Seeing as users are 10 times more likely to comment on a Live video, this would surely get people talking! Not sure if this is entirely true, why not just test out the feature yourself!
