Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it’s safe to say we have had plenty of reminders!

Valentine’s is all about love, and brands are all about sharing theirs on the day. But as a brand, how would you sell your services?

Well, there are so many different ways, the sky is the limit! Here we have compiled a list of what you can do, if you get stuck over the weekend, and what some of the best in the business are doing to make the most of the big marketing event… we mean love in!

A restaurant can leave it all up to their audience to create the “vibe” in their restaurants…

Well, it wouldn’t be a total makeover, but Pizza Express has left it in the hands of their fans to create a love playlist for Valentines. Who wouldn’t want a specially created playlist to play in the background whilst scoffing your favourite pizza… Sounds like the dream!

Competitions are one way to get the community buzzing! Superdrug has based their competition on Valentine’s (of course), where those who “RT & follow” win a Valentine’s Hamper worth over £200!

Who wouldn’t want a that luxury? Judging by the number of retweets (2,000), likes (641) and comments (262), quite a lot of people want that luxury!

Other brands have gone slightly more traditional, opting for promoting discounts for the special day. With the 2-for-1 deals or a dinner for 2 deal including Iceland, Tesco and Marks and Spencer.

Whatever you go for, make sure it’s relevant to your business and suits your audience.

Which do you think would work best for your business? Let us know in the comments section below…
